Forensic Expert and Private Investigator, Daniel Loper becomes one of NALI’s newest member

Daniel Loper, chief forensic expert, private investigator, and CEO of Granite Discovery, was recently accepted into the National Association of Legal Investigators (NALI). Daniel is a certified computer and cellphone forensics examiner and licensed private detective with over 20 years’ experience working in the Information Technology field. He has worked on domestic, homicide, fraud, and child exploitation cases. Working with both computer/cellphone forensics and cell record/tower analysis, he has provided clients the information to support or challenge the validity of evidence. Most critically, his work has been instrumental in recovering data from inoperable devices and further identifying data that was never identified in prior examinations, which resulted in positive outcomes for his clients.

Daniel Loper maintains his eDiscovery EnCE® Certification, Oxygen Forensics Certification, Project Management Certificate from George Washington University, and GIAC Advanced Smartphone Forensics (GASF) Certification. Daniel also speaks at conferences and for the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education system on topics such as cellphone forensics and how to properly establish a repeatable and defensible eDiscovery program.
